Experienced professionals at Group Health use X-rays to evaluate fractures and diseases of the skeletal system. X-rays are also useful for diagnosing diseases in soft tissues such as congestion, pneumonia or lung cancer in the chest, or intestinal obstruction, free air or fluid in the abdomen.

All GHA X-ray technologists are registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and licensed by the Ohio Department of Health. All X-ray images taken at GHA are interpreted by radiologists and/or musculoskeletal physicians.

Group Health X-ray Technologists see patients at six locations: Group Health Anderson, Group Health Clifton, Group Health Kenwood, Group Health Mason, Group Health Springdale, Group Health Western Hills

Dexa Scans are available one to two days per month at Group Health Anderson, Group Health Clifton, Group Health Kenwood, Group Health Mason, Group Health Springdale, and Group Health Western Hills.

For added convenience, many women choose to schedule their Dexa Scan and yearly gynecologic visit on the same day.
